Built for homeowner water-damage claims

Free beta

Someone in your corner when your claim stalls.

CornerClaim reads your adjuster emails and policy letters, tells you exactly what’s outstanding and when it’s due, and drafts your responses for you to review and send. It’s a documentation tool built for you — not the carrier.

What CornerClaim doesn’t do: it doesn’t negotiate with your insurer, doesn’t contact them on your behalf, and isn’t a substitute for a licensed public adjuster or attorney. No contingency fee, ever. You always review and send everything yourself.

Why CornerClaim

Most claims tools stop at organizing your documents.

CornerClaim also writes the correspondence itself — grounded in your state’s actual claims-handling law, not generic templates or a chatbot answering questions about your policy.

Dispute-aware drafting

The tone shifts when your claim does

A routine document request gets a routine letter. A denial, a lowball settlement offer, or pressure to sign a release gets a pointed one — citing the insurer’s burden to prove an exclusion applies, and asking for a specific written basis for any denial.

Live legal grounding

Citations from your state’s actual law

When a letter needs it, CornerClaim searches live, official .gov sources — your state legislature or Department of Insurance — for the real claims-handling regulation that applies, and flags any citation it can’t verify before you send it.

Tactic detection

Reads for substance, not just keywords

Every document you add is assessed for real adversarial patterns — a depreciated settlement, a release you’re being pushed to sign, expanding documentation demands, an unreasonably short deadline — not just whether it contains the word “denied.”

Homeowner insurance complaints rose 12.4% nationally in 2026, with claims handling the single largest complaint category (NAIC-tracked complaint data). CornerClaim exists because that gap — between filing a claim and getting it handled fairly — is real and growing.

Paste in your correspondence

Adjuster emails, insurer letters, policy excerpts — paste them in as they arrive, or upload a PDF or photo. Nothing is sent anywhere on your behalf.

02

See what’s outstanding

CornerClaim extracts deadlines, requested documents, adjuster contact info, and any coverage terms mentioned — tracked on one dashboard.

03

No payment happens today. Once beta ends, CornerClaim will charge a flat software fee for the documentation and drafting tool — not payment for representation, negotiation, or legal advice, and never contingent on any outcome of your claim.

If you used a licensed public adjuster instead: public adjusters typically work on a contingency fee — a percentage of your settlement, capped by state law at roughly 8-15% in most states, up to 20% in Florida and 33.3% in Georgia. On a $20,000 claim, that’s $1,600-$6,600 in contingency fees at those caps — versus CornerClaim’s flat $99. (Illustrative example only — actual fee caps and settlement amounts vary by state and claim. CornerClaim doesn’t negotiate your claim or charge a percentage of anything; this is only a cost comparison against hiring a licensed professional to do that separate job.)

FAQ

Common questions

Can this replace a public adjuster or attorney?+

No. CornerClaim is a documentation and drafting tool — it is not a licensed public adjuster, attorney, or insurance agent, and it does not negotiate with your carrier or provide legal advice. Every letter CornerClaim drafts comes back to you to review, edit, and send yourself; nothing is ever sent to your insurer on your behalf. If your claim needs real negotiation leverage or formal representation, that's outside what this tool does — a licensed public adjuster or attorney is the right next step for that.

What claim types does this support?+

Today, CornerClaim is built specifically for homeowner water-damage claims — the extraction, drafting, and tracking are all tuned for that one claim type. We may expand to other claim types later, but nothing else is supported yet.

How does the legal-citation grounding actually work?+

When CornerClaim detects that your claim has become a real dispute — a denial, an exclusion, a lowball settlement, or pressure to sign a release — it searches live for your state's actual current claims-handling law before drafting your letter, typically the state's unfair-claims-settlement-practices regulation or its claim-acknowledgment deadline. That search is restricted to official .gov sources only — your state legislature or state Department of Insurance — never law-firm blogs, public-adjuster marketing pages, or the model's own memory. Every citation is checked against the real search results before it's allowed into your letter; if a citation can't be verified against an actual .gov source, CornerClaim flags it in the letter with a clear warning so you know to double-check it before sending.

Is my data secure?+

Your claim documents and correspondence are stored on our platform and used only to process your claim — extracting deadlines, tracking outstanding items, and drafting your letters. We don't share your data with any third party unless you take an action that requires it. We're a small, early-stage tool, and we're upfront that we haven't yet published a formal privacy and data-retention policy — that's real, in-progress work, not something we're claiming is already done.

Does CornerClaim negotiate with my insurer or contact them for me?+

No. CornerClaim never contacts your insurer directly and never sends anything on your behalf. It drafts letters and tracks what's outstanding — you always review, edit if needed, and send everything yourself.

What does this cost right now?+

CornerClaim is free while we're in beta — no charge today, no card required. Your claim unlocks immediately when you start it: you can upload correspondence, see extracted deadlines and outstanding items, and generate drafted letters right away. Once beta wraps, a flat per-claim fee will apply going forward — never a subscription, never a percentage of your settlement.
